R E S O L U T I O N
WHEREAS, The passing of Mary H. Dipp of El Paso on April 27,
2003, has deeply saddened the family and many admirers of this
beloved woman; and
WHEREAS, A native Texan, she was a lifelong resident of El
Paso and a faithful congregant of St. Joseph Catholic Church; and
WHEREAS, Mrs. Dipp and her husband, Mike Dipp, Sr., shared a
close and fulfilling relationship until his passing; their marriage
was made even richer with the addition of six children, and through
the years, Mrs. Dipp took great pleasure in welcoming nine
grandchildren, two great-grandchildren, and two
great-great-grandchildren into her close-knit circle of loved
ones; and
WHEREAS, Those who were fortunate enough to have shared the
friendship of this lovely lady will long miss her presence, and she
will surely be remembered with great affection and warmth for many
years to come; now, therefore, be it
RESOLVED, That the House of Representatives of the 78th Texas
Legislature hereby pay tribute to the life of Mary H. Dipp and
extend sincere sympathy to her family: to her children, Michael J.
Dipp, Jr., and his wife, Cristina, Rosalie Ann Dipp and her husband,
Raymond, Mary Jeanne Dipp, Paul Dipp and his wife, Suzanne, and
George Dipp and his wife, Cristina; to her grandchildren,
great-grandchildren, and great-great-grandchildren; to her
sisters, Victoria and Rosalie Hamrah; to her brother-in-law, Jorge
Dipp; to her sister-in-law, Aurora Dipp Murad; and to her other
friends and relatives; and, be it further
RESOLVED, That an official copy of this resolution be
prepared for her family and that when the Texas House of
Representatives adjourns this day, it do so in memory of Mary H.
Dipp.
