R E S O L U T I O N
	WHEREAS, Rob Mosbacher will be presented with the 
Distinguished Leadership Award by Leadership Houston on May 29, 
2003, and this significant achievement is truly deserving of 
special recognition; and
	WHEREAS, Recipients of this prestigious award are 
acknowledged leaders in their field with a demonstrated record of 
steadfast commitment to the betterment of Houston through 
professional and personal actions; and
	WHEREAS, President of Mosbacher Energy, this notable Texan 
has devoted a large part of his life to public service; he has been 
chairman of the Houston Area Red Cross and The Salvation Army and is 
the founder of PSI HomeSavers, a volunteer repair program for 
elderly and low-income citizens that has repaired more than 3,500 
homes; and
	WHEREAS, Mr. Mosbacher has given generously of his time and 
many talents for the betterment of the Houston community and it is a 
privilege to honor this exemplary leader; now, therefore, be it
	RESOLVED, That Rob Mosbacher be congratulated on being given 
the Leadership Houston Distinguished Leadership Award and that he 
be extended sincere best wishes for continued success in all his 
endeavors; and, be it further
	RESOLVED, That an official copy of this resolution be 
prepared for Mr. Mosbacher as an expression of high regard by the 
Texas House of Representatives.
