R E S O L U T I O N
WHEREAS, Amy Beth Ehlert of Brenham is celebrating a significant milestone in her life on May 16, 2003, for on that date she will graduate from The University of Texas at Austin; and WHEREAS, Throughout her college career, this outstanding young woman has demonstrated integrity, leadership, and a determination to succeed; as she dons her cap and gown to receive her bachelor's degree in corporate communications, she can take great pride in her notable scholastic achievement and her service to the community through her membership in Pi Beta Phi Sorority; and WHEREAS, During the 78th Texas Legislature, Ms. Ehlert has made time in her busy schedule of college courses to become a highly regarded staff member in the Capitol office of Representative Beverly Woolley; and WHEREAS, Amy Ehlert is an impressive young woman who has demonstrated exemplary commitment in attaining her college degree; her energy, enthusiasm, and perseverance typify the finest qualities of young Texans, and her noteworthy achievement indeed merits our highest praise; now, therefore, be it RESOLVED, That the House of Representatives of the 78th Texas Legislature hereby congratulate Amy Beth Ehlert on her graduation from The University of Texas at Austin and extend to her warmest best wishes for continued success and happiness in all her future endeavors; and, be it further RESOLVED, That an official copy of this resolution be prepared for Ms. Ehlert as an expression of high regard by the Texas House of Representatives.
