R E S O L U T I O N
	WHEREAS, The Texas House of Representatives is proud to 
congratulate Lindsey Delise Thomas of Houston on the joyous 
occasion of her graduation from The University of Texas at Austin on 
May 16, 2003; and
	WHEREAS, This dedicated individual has shown initiative, 
leadership, and a determination to succeed during her collegiate 
career; as she dons her cap and gown to receive her bachelor of 
business administration degree in finance, she can take great pride 
in her notable scholastic achievement; furthermore, she has been 
involved with the work and activities of Pi Beta Phi Sorority; and
	WHEREAS, In addition to dedicating her time and energy to her 
studies, Ms. Thomas has made significant contributions as a valued 
member of Representative Beverly Woolley's Capitol office staff 
since 1999; and
	WHEREAS, The daughter of Mike and Delise Thomas, who take 
great pride in her achievements, she also enjoys the love and 
support of her brother, Lang; and
	WHEREAS, Lindsey Thomas is an impressive young woman who has 
demonstrated exemplary commitment in attaining her college degree; 
her energy, enthusiasm, and perseverance typify the finest 
qualities of young Texans, and she is most deserving of our highest 
praise for her outstanding accomplishment; now, therefore, be it
	RESOLVED, That the House of Representatives of the 78th Texas 
Legislature hereby congratulate Lindsey Delise Thomas on her 
graduation from The University of Texas at Austin and extend to her 
sincere best wishes for continued success and fulfillment in the 
years to come; and, be it further
	RESOLVED, That an official copy of this resolution be 
prepared for Ms. Thomas as an expression of high regard by the Texas 
House of Representatives.
