R E S O L U T I O N
	WHEREAS, Fred and Bobbye Dumas of Midland recently observed a 
special milestone in their marriage when they celebrated their 
golden wedding anniversary at a dinner hosted by their children; 
and
	WHEREAS, Mr. Dumas and the former Bobbye Eoff were united in 
marriage on January 24, 1953, at Harmony Baptist Church near 
Winters; their enduring union has since been blessed with three 
children, Karen Winchester, James Dumas, and Donna Fox, as well as 
six grandchildren; and
	WHEREAS, Midland residents since 1968, Mr. and Mrs. Dumas are 
dedicated congregants of Crestview Baptist Church and active 
members of the community, and their 50-year marriage is an 
inspiration to family and friends alike; now, therefore, be it
	RESOLVED, That the House of Representatives of the 78th Texas 
Legislature hereby pay tribute to Fred and Bobbye Dumas and extend 
to them warmest best wishes for continued happiness; and, be it 
further
	RESOLVED, That an official copy of this resolution be 
prepared for Mr. and Mrs. Dumas as an expression of high regard by 
the Texas House of Representatives.
