R E S O L U T I O N
	WHEREAS, On February 8, 2003, Mary Alice and Alex Link of 
Midland celebrated their 60th wedding anniversary, marking another 
memorable event in their long and happy union; and
	WHEREAS, Joined in marriage on February 10, 1943, in 
Billings, Montana, Mr. Link and the former Mary Alice Bussard enjoy 
a warm and fulfilling relationship that is an inspiration to all who 
know them; and
	WHEREAS, The couple take great pride in their family, which 
includes three children, Mary Jane Belden, Alex Link, and Lorraine 
Leach, two granddaughters, and three great-grandsons; and
	WHEREAS, For six decades, Mr. and Mrs. Link have filled each 
other's lives with love, and their marriage has been enriched by 
cherished family memories and many joyful times; now, therefore, be 
it
	RESOLVED, That the House of Representatives of the 78th Texas 
Legislature hereby congratulate Alex and Mary Alice Link on their 
60th wedding anniversary and extend to them sincere best wishes for 
the future; and, be it further
	RESOLVED, That an official copy of this resolution be 
prepared for Mr. and Mrs. Link as an expression of high regard by 
the Texas House of Representatives.
