R E S O L U T I O N
	WHEREAS, The Texas House of Representatives is proud to 
congratulate Diedre Loretta Douglas on the joyous occasion of her 
graduation from Baylor University; and
	WHEREAS, The daughter of proud parents Dorian and Sandra 
Douglas, this dedicated Texan has shown initiative, leadership, and 
a determination to succeed during her collegiate career; a 
political science major who plans to participate in Teach for 
America upon graduation, Ms. Douglas may take great pride in her 
notable scholastic achievement; and
	WHEREAS, Demonstrating exemplary perseverance, energy, and 
intelligence,  Ms. Douglas represents the finest qualities of our 
state's young people, and she is most deserving of commendation for 
her outstanding accomplishment; now, therefore, be it
	RESOLVED, That the House of Representatives of the 78th Texas 
Legislature hereby congratulate Diedre Loretta Douglas on her 
graduation from Baylor University and extend to her warmest best 
wishes for success and happiness in the years to come; and, be it 
further
	RESOLVED, That an official copy of this resolution be 
prepared for Ms. Douglas as an expression of high regard by the 
Texas House of Representatives.
