R E S O L U T I O N
	WHEREAS, The San Angelo community lost a trusted friend and 
distinguished justice of the peace when Jerry Bob Jennison passed 
away at the age of 64; and
	WHEREAS, Judge Jennison served with distinction as justice of 
the peace for 24 years, fulfilling his duties with integrity and 
dedication; through hard work and uncompromising adherence to the 
law, Judge Jennison earned the lasting respect and admiration of 
his fellow citizens; and
	WHEREAS, In addition to his professional achievements, Judge 
Jennison made significant contributions to his community through 
his work in behalf of the Salvation Army, the Radio Emergency 
Association Communications Team, FEMA, and the Red Cross; he also 
was a member of the First Baptist Church of San Angelo, where he 
taught fifth-grade Sunday school, and he belonged to the San Angelo 
Amateur Radio Club; and
	WHEREAS, Through a deep commitment to life's higher ideals, 
Judge Jennison left an indelible impression on the lives of the many 
people who were fortunate enough to have known him, and his 
cherished memory will not soon be forgotten; now, therefore, be it
	RESOLVED, That the House of Representatives of the 78th Texas 
Legislature hereby pay special tribute to the life of Justice of the 
Peace Jerry Bob Jennison and extend deepest sympathy to the members 
of his family: to his wife of 45 years, Barbara; to his four 
daughters; to his nine grandchildren; to his three 
great-grandchildren; and to his other relatives and numerous 
friends; and, be it further
	RESOLVED, That an official copy of this resolution be 
prepared for his family and that when the Texas House of 
Representatives adjourns on this day, it do so in memory of Judge 
Jerry Jennison.
