H.R. No. 1284



R E S O L U T I O N
	WHEREAS, April 11, 2003, was indeed a special day in the lives 
of Ray and Bibiana Mancera of El Paso, for on that day they became 
the proud parents of an adorable baby boy, Marcos Antonio Mancera; 
and
	WHEREAS, Marcos weighed in at 7 pounds, 4 ounces, and 
measured 19.5 inches in length when he was born, and his 
long-awaited arrival has brought great joy to his parents and to his 
many new admirers, including his older sisters, Alessa and Cristina 
Mancera, and his doting grandparents, Aurora Mancera and Raymond 
and Diana Arias; and
	WHEREAS, The birth of a child is always a momentous event, and 
it is a privilege to join in celebrating the arrival of Marcos 
Antonio Mancera as a new citizen of Texas and to honor his delighted 
parents; now, therefore, be it
	RESOLVED, That the House of Representatives of the 78th Texas 
Legislature hereby congratulate Ray and Bibiana Mancera on the 
birth of their son, Marcos Antonio Mancera, and extend to them 
sincere best wishes for the future; and, be it further
	RESOLVED, That an official copy of this resolution be 
prepared for Mr. and Mrs. Mancera as an expression of high regard by 
the Texas House of Representatives.
