R E S O L U T I O N
WHEREAS, Byron Beethe of Longview is an inspiring young man
who has accomplished much in his life thus far; and
WHEREAS, A 2001 graduate of Pine Tree High School, Mr. Beethe
is a student at Tyler Junior College and a member of Moberly Baptist
Church in Longview; adept with computers, he enjoys helping people
with their web pages, and he is also a great cook; and
WHEREAS, Beloved by his family, which includes his parents,
Bernie and Cindy Beethe, his grandparents, Alonzo and Delilah
Beethe, and his sister, Bethany, Mr. Beethe has left the comfort of
East Texas behind him in the past to reside in Kuantan, Malaysia,
for two years, but he returned to Texas as quickly as he could, no
doubt reporting to the nearest Mexican food restaurant as soon as
possible following his arrival home; and
WHEREAS, While Mr. Beethe has had more than his fair share of
challenges thrown his way, this remarkable young man has stayed
focused on his goals and moved ever forward, and he has earned the
lasting respect and friendship of a great many people; now,
therefore, be it
RESOLVED, That the House of Representatives of the 78th Texas
Legislature hereby commend Byron Beethe and extend to him warmest
best wishes for all the good fortune he so richly deserves as he
battles cancer at M. D. Anderson Hospital; and, be it further
RESOLVED, That an official copy of this resolution be
prepared for Mr. Beethe as an expression of high regard by the Texas
House of Representatives.
