H.R. No. 1410
R E S O L U T I O N
WHEREAS, On May 9, 2003, Stephen Bradley Guillot II achieved
a milestone in his life when he graduated from Texas A&M University
with a bachelor of arts degree in history and religious studies; and
WHEREAS, A graduate of Klein Oaks High School, Mr. Guillot
entered Texas A&M University in 1999 and joined the prestigious
Corps of Cadets and the Fighting Texas Aggie Band; a former
commanding officer of A-Company, Mr. Guillot earned the Bugle Rank
for the Fighting Texas Aggie Band, and he served as honor guard to
the governor of Texas as a member of the Texas A&M Ross Volunteer
Company; and
WHEREAS, An honors student and member of Alpha Phi Omega, Mr.
Guillot received in his first year the Outstanding
Freshman--Infantry Band Interview Division Award as well as the
Distinguished Student Award for the Corps of Cadets; he was a member
of the National Honor Collegiate Scholars, received the Sul Ross
Corps of Cadets Scholarship and the Challenge Award Scholarship,
and was selected to serve as historian for the Ross Volunteer
Company; and
WHEREAS, Mr. Guillot is well prepared to meet the
opportunities and challenges that lie ahead and will undoubtedly
represent the Lone Star State with distinction in all his future
endeavors; now, therefore, be it
RESOLVED, That the House of Representatives of the 78th Texas
Legislature hereby congratulate Stephen Bradley Guillot II on his
graduation from Texas A&M University and extend to him best wishes
for continued success and happiness; and, be it further
RESOLVED, That an official copy of this resolution be
prepared for Mr. Guillot as an expression of high regard by the
Texas House of Representatives.
