R E S O L U T I O N
	WHEREAS, On June 7, 2003, Christina Wai-Yun Wong is 
graduating from The University of Texas Medical School at Houston 
and embarking on an exciting new chapter in her life; and
	WHEREAS, Dr. Wong has demonstrated academic excellence at one 
of the top 50 medical schools in the country, and her outstanding 
record has earned her a place in the residency program of her 
choice, pediatrics at The University of Texas Medical School at 
Houston; and
	WHEREAS, A remarkable young woman of extraordinary talent, 
Dr. Wong possesses the intelligence, energy, and determination to 
succeed in a demanding profession and, in the years ahead, her 
patients and their families will benefit immeasurably from her 
skills and commitment; now, therefore, be it
	RESOLVED, That the House of Representatives of the 78th Texas 
Legislature hereby congratulate Christina Wai-Yun Wong on her 
graduation from The University of Texas Medical School at Houston 
and extend to her warmest best wishes for continued success as she 
enters into residency training; and, be it further
	RESOLVED, That an official copy of this resolution be 
prepared for Dr. Wong as an expression of high regard by the Texas 
House of Representatives.
