R E S O L U T I O N
	WHEREAS, Pillsbury Winthrop LLP is opening its Houston office 
on May 22, 2003, and this new addition to the Houston business 
community will positively influence the local area in myriad ways; 
and
	WHEREAS, A global law firm specializing in capital markets 
and finance, technology, global energy, telecommunications, and 
litigation, Pillsbury Winthrop LLP is committed to providing 
superior and distinctive client service through its 
cross-disciplinary Client Team approach; and
	WHEREAS, This noteworthy law firm will greatly benefit area 
residents and it is most fitting that it be welcomed to the Houston 
area at this time; now, therefore, be it
	RESOLVED, That the House of Representatives of the 78th Texas 
Legislature hereby recognize Pillsbury Winthrop LLP on the opening 
of its Houston office and extend to the firm best wishes for a long 
and successful future in the Houston area; and, be it further
	RESOLVED, That an official copy of this resolution be 
prepared for Pillsbury Winthrop LLP as an expression of high regard 
by the Texas House of Representatives.
