R E S O L U T I O N
	WHEREAS, June 6, 2003, will indeed be a special day for Ofelia 
Silva and Franklin Painter, for on that day they will exchange their 
wedding vows and embark on a new life together as husband and wife; 
and
	WHEREAS, The impending nuptials of these two fine individuals 
have brought great delight to their respective families; Ofelia is 
the mother of Daniel, Eric, and Kimberly Silva, while her fiance is 
the father of Andrew and Frank Painter, Jr.; and
	WHEREAS, The couple will exchange their wedding vows at The 
Inn of Chachalaca Bend in Los Fresnos, bringing family and friends 
together to witness this important turning point in their lives; 
and
	WHEREAS, This blessed event will mark a profound deepening of 
a relationship that has grown in love, respect, and mutual regard 
with each passing day, and it is indeed appropriate that this 
fortunate couple be given heartfelt support and encouragement at 
this time; now, therefore, be it
	RESOLVED, That the House of Representatives of the 78th Texas 
Legislature hereby congratulate Franklin Painter and Ofelia Silva 
on the joyous occasion of their wedding and extend to them warmest 
best wishes for a lifetime of happiness together; and, be it further
	RESOLVED, That an official copy of this resolution be 
prepared for the couple as an expression of high regard by the Texas 
House of Representatives.
