H.R. No. 1494



R E S O L U T I O N
	WHEREAS, Through hard work and dedication, Lenin Navar has 
achieved academic excellence and put himself on the path to a bright 
and rewarding future; and
	WHEREAS, After having participated in the specialized 
instruction of the Hi-Tek Aviation One program sponsored by Upper 
Rio Grande @ Work Youth Services, Mr. Navar will graduate from 
Socorro High School on June 2, 2003, and he plans to attend the 
prestigious Massachusetts Institute of Technology to pursue a 
degree in computer science; and
	WHEREAS, Mr. Navar has demonstrated the commitment and 
ability to succeed, and he is a source of tremendous pride for his 
family, his school, and the El Paso community; now, therefore, be it
	RESOLVED, That the House of Representatives of the 78th Texas 
Legislature hereby congratulate Lenin Navar on his academic 
achievements and extend to him best wishes for continued success 
and happiness; and, be it further
	RESOLVED, That an official copy of this resolution be 
prepared for Mr. Navar as an expression of high regard by the Texas 
House of Representatives.
