R E S O L U T I O N
	WHEREAS, Throughout high school, Cody Rios has shown 
initiative, leadership, and a determination to succeed, and his 
graduation from Eastwood High School in El Paso provides a fitting 
opportunity to honor this exceptional young man; and
	WHEREAS, Recognized as Mr. Blue and Gold, the outstanding 
male student, Mr. Rios has been an exemplary role model for his 
peers; over the years, he has been a member and officer of a number 
of noteworthy organizations, including the student council, which 
he served as president in 2002-2003; and
	WHEREAS, Cody Rios is an impressive young man who has 
demonstrated exemplary commitment in attaining his diploma; his 
dedication, enthusiasm, and perseverance typify the finest 
qualities of this nation's young people, and he is most deserving of 
commendation for his noteworthy accomplishment; now, therefore, be 
it
	RESOLVED, That the House of Representatives of the 78th Texas 
Legislature hereby congratulate Cody Rios on his graduation from 
Eastwood High School and extend to him sincere best wishes for 
continued success and happiness; and, be it further
	RESOLVED, That an official copy of this resolution be 
prepared for Mr. Rios as an expression of high regard by the Texas 
House of Representatives.
