R E S O L U T I O N
	WHEREAS, The Vista Hills Rotary Club in El Paso is working to 
make a positive and lasting effect in its community; and
	WHEREAS, Under the leadership of president David Perea, the 
club's 31 members have won widespread respect and admiration for 
the organization's many commendable endeavors; and
	WHEREAS, The group is involved in diverse and valuable 
community programs, including literacy initiatives and 
immunization drives; it hosts an annual Thanksgiving dinner 
giveaway, supports a number of YMCA programs, and presents numerous 
awards throughout the year for outstanding citizens and 
professionals; and
	WHEREAS, The lives of many people are better because of the 
activities of the Vista Hills Rotary Club, and this outstanding 
organization truly merits special legislative recognition; now, 
therefore, be it
	RESOLVED, That the House of Representatives of the 78th Texas 
Legislature hereby commend all those associated with the Vista 
Hills Rotary Club and extend to them sincere best wishes for 
continued success and happiness; and, be it further
	RESOLVED, That an official copy of this resolution be 
prepared for the club as an expression of high regard by the Texas 
House of Representatives.
