R E S O L U T I O N
WHEREAS, Pizza Hut was named "The Best Place to Work in Dallas-Fort Worth!" in the 2003 large business category by the Dallas Business Journal; and WHEREAS, A survey of Pizza Hut employees taken at the company's Addison headquarters reflects outstanding employee satisfaction with the company; among the amenities enjoyed by its workers are an on-site fitness center with wellness and stress management programs, a child-care facility, and a fun, people-oriented culture in which employees are encouraged to voice their opinions about workplace enhancements and are often recognized for a job well done; and WHEREAS, Interested in fostering the professional and personal growth of its employees, Pizza Hut offers its workers reimbursement for college, extensive training, flexible schedules, and even two paid days off each year to engage in community service activities; moreover, a 30-person "change team" ensures high morale by coordinating special events; and WHEREAS, Pizza Hut's commitment to its employees makes it an outstanding Texas business that is most worthy of special recognition; now, therefore, be it RESOLVED, That the House of Representatives of the 78th Texas Legislature hereby congratulate Pizza Hut on being named "The Best Place to Work in Dallas-Fort Worth!" in 2003 by the Dallas Business Journal and extend to all those affiliated with the company best wishes for continued success; and, be it further RESOLVED, That an official copy of this resolution be prepared for Pizza Hut as an expression of high regard by the Texas House of Representatives.
