R E S O L U T I O N
	WHEREAS, Angelica Gonzalez has been recognized as an 
outstanding educator with her selection as teacher of the year for 
the East District of the Houston Independent School District 
(HISD); and
	WHEREAS, An energetic teacher of IPC, chemistry, and 
environmental science at Eastwood Academy Charter High School, Ms. 
Gonzalez inspires her students to achieve academic excellence and 
helps to set them on the path to a bright future; and
	WHEREAS, Ms. Gonzalez represents the highest standards of her 
noble profession, and her commitment to her students is truly 
commendable; now, therefore, be it
	RESOLVED, That the House of Representatives of the 78th Texas 
Legislature hereby congratulate Angelica Gonzalez for being named 
teacher of the year for the East District of HISD and extend to her 
best wishes for continued success and happiness; and, be it further
	RESOLVED, That an official copy of this resolution be 
prepared for Ms. Gonzalez as an expression of high regard by the 
Texas House of Representatives.
