R E S O L U T I O N
WHEREAS, Christopher Bauer of The Woodlands has a remarkable string of achievements that merit recognition and praise as he moves on in his higher education; and WHEREAS, He received the highest rank bestowed by the Boy Scouts of America, the Eagle Scout insignia, on May 4, 2003; he then earned his associate's degree from Montgomery County Community College on May 9, 2003, and he graduated from high school with the Conroe Area Christian Home Educators Class of 2003 on May 10, 2003; and WHEREAS, Named among America's 2002 Top-10 Homeschool Students by Homeschooling Parent magazine, Mr. Bauer has experienced a most remarkable childhood education; he has traveled to more than 70 countries and six continents and gone on more than 30 cruises, assisting his mother's free-lance writing as a photojournalist and learning about the world around him; in the fall of 2003, Mr. Bauer will continue his education as a junior at Texas A&M University; and WHEREAS, Mr. Bauer is truly an inspiration to others, and his myriad experiences have prepared him well for the bright future that lies ahead; now, therefore, be it RESOLVED, That the House of Representatives of the 78th Texas Legislature hereby congratulate Christopher Bauer on his recent accomplishments and extend to him best wishes for continued success and happiness; and, be it further RESOLVED, That an official copy of this resolution be prepared for Mr. Bauer as an expression of high regard by the Texas House of Representatives.
