                                                                  H.R. No. 1523



R E S O L U T I O N
	WHEREAS, G. K. "Bub" McDonald of Lamesa recently celebrated 
his 90th birthday, and the event provides a fitting opportunity to 
recognize this outstanding Texan; and
	WHEREAS, Mr. McDonald is a highly regarded resident of Dawson 
County, where he has lived since 1937; and
	WHEREAS, "Bub" McDonald has long dedicated himself to his 
family and his community, and in doing so he has touched and 
brightened the lives of many people; now, therefore, be it
	RESOLVED, That the House of Representatives of the 78th Texas 
Legislature hereby heartily congratulate G. K. "Bub" McDonald on 
the memorable occasion of his 90th birthday and extend to him 
sincere best wishes for continued happiness; and, be it further
	RESOLVED, That an official copy of this resolution be 
prepared for Mr. McDonald as an expression of high regard by the 
Texas House of Representatives.
