R E S O L U T I O N
	WHEREAS, On April 12, 2003, Calvin and Caroline White of 
Midland celebrated their 60th wedding anniversary, marking a 
notable milestone in their long and happy union; and
	WHEREAS, Joined in marriage on April 12, 1943, in New York 
City, Mr. White and the former Caroline Wollner enjoy a warm and 
fulfilling relationship that is an inspiration to all who know 
them; and
	WHEREAS, The couple take great pride in their family, which 
includes five children, Phil White, David White, Charles White, 
Nancy White, and Ellen Meyer, six grandchildren, and five 
great-grandchildren; and
	WHEREAS, Valued citizens of Midland since 1959, the couple 
are active members of St. Ann's Catholic Church and Trinity 
Episcopal Church; Mr. White is a respected local businessman who 
has owned West Texas Flying Service, Mooney Southwest, and Aquila 
in Midland as well as Airmar in Long Island, New York; and
	WHEREAS, For six decades, Mr. and Mrs. White have filled each 
other's lives with love, and their marriage has been enriched by 
cherished family memories and many joyful times; now, therefore, be 
it
	RESOLVED, That the House of Representatives of the 78th Texas 
Legislature hereby congratulate Calvin and Caroline White on their 
60th wedding anniversary and extend to them sincere best wishes for 
the future; and, be it further
	RESOLVED, That an official copy of this resolution be 
prepared for Mr. and Mrs. White as an expression of high regard by 
the Texas House of Representatives.
