R E S O L U T I O N
	WHEREAS, Teachers from the Plano Independent School District 
were recently honored at the district's annual Teacher of the Year 
Gala, and it is a pleasure to congratulate Roxanne Burchfiel on 
receiving the Secondary Teacher of the Year Award; and
	WHEREAS, One of the outstanding teachers at Frankford Middle 
School, Ms. Burchfiel is a tribute to the teaching community and a 
role model for students and peers alike; and
	WHEREAS, This esteemed educator has demonstrated dedication 
and commitment to excellence while contributing to the continued 
growth of students at Frankford Middle School; and
	WHEREAS, Ms. Burchfiel is one of this state's most highly 
regarded educators, and the example set by this remarkable teacher 
will undoubtedly inspire future generations of Texans; now, 
therefore, be it
	RESOLVED, That the House of Representatives of the 78th Texas 
Legislature hereby congratulate Roxanne Burchfiel on receiving 
Plano Independent School District's Secondary Teacher of the Year 
Award and extend best wishes to this dedicated educator; and, be it 
further
	RESOLVED, That an official copy of this resolution be 
prepared for Ms. Burchfiel as an expression of high regard by the 
Texas House of Representatives.
