R E S O L U T I O N
	WHEREAS, Teachers from the Plano Independent School District 
were recently honored at the district's annual Teacher of the Year 
Gala, and it is a pleasure to congratulate Jan Edgley on receiving 
the Elementary Excellence in Teaching Award; and
	WHEREAS, One of the outstanding teachers at Centennial 
Elementary School, Ms. Edgley is a tribute to the teaching 
community and a role model for students and peers alike; and
	WHEREAS, This esteemed educator has demonstrated dedication 
and commitment to excellence while contributing to the continued 
growth of students at Centennial Elementary School; and
	WHEREAS, Ms. Edgley is one of this state's most highly 
regarded educators, and the example set by this remarkable teacher 
will undoubtedly inspire future generations of Texans; now, 
therefore, be it
	RESOLVED, That the House of Representatives of the 78th Texas 
Legislature hereby congratulate Jan Edgley on receiving Plano 
Independent School District's Elementary Excellence in Teaching 
Award and extend best wishes to this dedicated educator; and, be it 
further
	RESOLVED, That an official copy of this resolution be 
prepared for Ms. Edgley as an expression of high regard by the Texas 
House of Representatives.
