R E S O L U T I O N
	WHEREAS, The Bullock Family, originally of Lincoln, 
Nebraska, will hold their family reunion on Saturday, July 19, 
2003, in Austin, Texas, representing only the most recent in a long 
series of such occasions dating back more than 30 years, and this 
dedication truly merits special recognition; and
	WHEREAS, This custom was established by way of a request from 
Millard Bullock before his passing that the family maintain its 
tightly-knit heritage and bequeath the Bullock family's rich 
traditions to new generations; the family's commitment to honor 
this request serves as a living testament to the respect they hold 
for this great man and other members of the family; and
	WHEREAS, This occasion will bring together family members 
from all corners of America, from California to Maryland, and from 
Michigan to the great State of Texas, and many states in between; 
this milestone represents the principles and family values upon 
which our great country was founded, and it is most appropriate that 
this dedication be honored at this time; now, therefore, be it
	RESOLVED, That the House of Representatives of the 78th Texas 
Legislature hereby congratulate the Bullock Family on their reunion 
and extend to them sincere best wishes for the future; and be it 
further
	RESOLVED, That an official copy of this resolution be 
prepared for the Bullock Family as an expression of high regard by 
the Texas House of Representatives.
