                                                                  H.R. No. 1707



R E S O L U T I O N
	WHEREAS, Randall W. Dobbs has been elected chief executive 
officer and president of Community National Bank of Bellaire, and 
he is indeed deserving of this prestigious honor; and
	WHEREAS, Mr. Dobbs and Frank G. Cook established the bank in 
June 2002, and since that time it has amassed $68.8 million in 
deposits, and more than 3,000 accounts have been opened at the 
institution; and
	WHEREAS, This native Houstonian also partnered with Mr. Cook 
in 1983 to found Citizens National Bank in Bellaire; over the course 
of 18 years at the bank, Mr. Dobbs took on increasingly responsible 
positions and distinguished himself in the roles of executive vice 
president and chief operations officer; and
	WHEREAS, His civic involvement includes serving as a director 
of the Southwest Houston Chamber of Commerce and as a volunteer with 
the Houston Livestock Show and Rodeo; and
	WHEREAS, Throughout his career, Randy Dobbs has set high 
standards of integrity and professionalism, and he has earned the 
respect and admiration of all who know him; now, therefore, be it
	RESOLVED, That the House of Representatives of the 78th Texas 
Legislature hereby congratulate Randall W. Dobbs on his selection 
as chief executive officer and president of Community National Bank 
and extend to him sincere best wishes for continued success and 
happiness; and, be it further
	RESOLVED, That an official copy of this resolution be 
prepared for Mr. Dobbs as an expression of high regard by the Texas 
House of Representatives.
