R E S O L U T I O N
	WHEREAS, Vanessa B. Zertuche graduated from the Texas School 
for the Deaf (TSD) on May 29, 2003, and this joyous occasion 
represents a significant milestone for this outstanding young 
Texan; and
	WHEREAS, While high school graduation is a memorable event in 
the life of every student, the ceremony holds special significance 
for Ms. Zertuche, for she has overcome physical adversity to 
successfully complete the requirements for a diploma; and
	WHEREAS, During her tenure at TSD, she has played on the 
school's tennis team and participated in art and photography 
classes; and
	WHEREAS, In the pursuit of her academic goals, Ms. Zertuche 
has demonstrated initiative and dedication, and she may look 
forward with anticipation to the myriad challenges and 
opportunities that lie ahead; now, therefore, be it
	RESOLVED, That the House of Representatives of the 78th Texas 
Legislature hereby congratulate Vanessa B. Zertuche on the 
momentous occasion of her graduation from the Texas School for the 
Deaf and extend to her best wishes for continued success and 
happiness in all her future endeavors; and, be it further
	RESOLVED, That an official copy of this resolution be 
prepared for Ms. Zertuche as an expression of high regard by the 
Texas House of Representatives.
