R E S O L U T I O N
WHEREAS, Pamela Yvette Strube graduated from the Texas School
for the Deaf (TSD) on May 29, 2003, and this joyous occasion
represents a significant milestone for this outstanding young
Texan; and
WHEREAS, While high school graduation is a memorable event in
the life of every student, the ceremony holds special significance
for Ms. Strube, for she has been a beloved student at the school for
more than six years; and
WHEREAS, During her tenure at TSD, Ms. Strube has worked hard
to master important life skills; she has also been an enthusiastic
participant in a number of Special Olympics activities including
basketball and bowling, and following graduation she intends to
work and live in Austin; and
WHEREAS, In the pursuit of her goals, Ms. Strube has
demonstrated initiative and dedication, and she may look forward
with anticipation to the myriad challenges and opportunities that
lie ahead; now, therefore, be it
RESOLVED, That the House of Representatives of the 78th Texas
Legislature hereby congratulate Pamela Yvette Strube on the
momentous occasion of her graduation from the Texas School for the
Deaf and extend to her best wishes for continued success and
happiness in all her future endeavors; and, be it further
RESOLVED, That an official copy of this resolution be
prepared for Ms. Strube as an expression of high regard by the Texas
House of Representatives.
