R E S O L U T I O N
WHEREAS, Armando Cararillo Perez graduated from the Texas School for the Deaf on May 29, 2003, and this joyous occasion represents a significant milestone for this outstanding young Texan; and WHEREAS, While high school graduation is a memorable event in the life of every student, the ceremony holds special significance for Mr. Perez, for he has overcome physical adversity to successfully complete the requirements for a diploma; and WHEREAS, Mr. Perez, who has been named to the gold and silver honor roll several times during his scholastic career, enjoys athletics and has participated in the sports of football, tennis, and wrestling; a talented mechanic, he plans to attend either Texas State Technical College or the Southwest Collegiate Institute for the Deaf to continue his studies; and WHEREAS, In the pursuit of his academic and professional goals, Mr. Perez has demonstrated initiative and maturity, and he may look forward with anticipation to the myriad challenges and opportunities that lie ahead; now, therefore, be it RESOLVED, That the House of Representatives of the 78th Texas Legislature hereby congratulate Armando Cararillo Perez on the momentous occasion of his graduation from the Texas School for the Deaf and extend to him best wishes for continued success and happiness in all his future endeavors; and, be it further RESOLVED, That an official copy of this resolution be prepared for Mr. Perez as an expression of high regard by the Texas House of Representatives.
