H.R. No. 1789



R E S O L U T I O N
	WHEREAS, Sylvia de Leon, in her role as a legislative 
assistant, has provided outstanding service to the people of Texas 
House of Representatives District 38; and
	WHEREAS, During her superb tenure with the office of the 
Honorable Jim Solis, Ms. de Leon has spent a substantial amount of 
time answering the concerns of constituents and responding to the 
needs of her fellow Texans; and
	WHEREAS, Ms. de Leon graduated from The University of Texas 
at Brownsville in 1997, and she currently is working on a Ph.D. in 
community college leadership at The University of Texas at Austin; 
and
	WHEREAS, Ms. de Leon has proven herself to be a knowledgeable 
and dependable legislative staffer, and it is a pleasure to 
recognize her for her many contributions during the legislative 
session; now, therefore, be it
	RESOLVED, That the House of Representatives of the 78th Texas 
Legislature hereby honor Sylvia de Leon for her work as a 
legislative assistant during the regular session of the 78th Texas 
Legislature and extend to her warmest best wishes for future 
success and happiness; and, be it further
	RESOLVED, That an official copy of this resolution be 
prepared for Ms. de Leon as an expression of high regard by the 
Texas House of Representatives.
