H.R. No. 1800
R E S O L U T I O N
WHEREAS, The House of Representatives of the State of Texas
is proud to recognize the thousands of servicemen and servicewomen
who are serving our nation in Operation Iraqi Freedom; and
WHEREAS, These patriotic Americans, along with their
families, have made many personal sacrifices in this effort to
protect and defend our nation; and
WHEREAS, For their service in Operation Iraqi Freedom, these
brave members of the armed forces have earned the gratitude and the
high regard and respect of their neighbors, their communities, and
their fellow Americans; and
WHEREAS, Captain Joel Ehler, a member of the Delta Force from
Fort Bragg in North Carolina, is a member of our military forces
deployed to Iraq; by giving selflessly of himself on behalf of his
country, he is an inspiration to citizens in his community and
across our great state; now, therefore, be it
RESOLVED, That the House of Representatives of the 78th Texas
Legislature hereby commend Captain Joel Ehler and all the other
outstanding members of the armed forces who are serving in
Operation Iraqi Freedom; and, be it further
RESOLVED, That an official copy of this resolution be
prepared for Captain Ehler as an expression of esteem from the Texas
House of Representatives.
