R E S O L U T I O N
	WHEREAS, Janice Caldwell of Lindale has been recognized as an 
exemplary teacher with her receipt of the Outstanding 
Speech/Theatre/Debate Educator Award from the National Federation 
of State High School Associations; and
	WHEREAS, This award is the highest citation presented by the  
association in the fine arts, and only one teacher in the nation is 
chosen for this honor each year; and
	WHEREAS, A speech and debate teacher at Lindale High School, 
Ms. Caldwell richly deserves this prestigious accolade for 
demonstrating the highest standards of excellence in the noble 
profession of education; now, therefore, be it
	RESOLVED, That the House of Representatives of the 78th Texas 
Legislature hereby congratulate Janice Caldwell on her receipt of 
the Outstanding Speech/Theatre/Debate Educator Award and extend to 
her warmest best wishes for continued success and happiness; and, 
be it further
	RESOLVED, That an official copy of this resolution be 
prepared for Ms. Caldwell as an expression of high regard by the 
Texas House of Representatives.
