H.R. No. 1890
R E S O L U T I O N
WHEREAS, Anthony Sherman has provided outstanding
legislative assistance in the office of Representative Yvonne Davis
during the regular session of the 78th Texas Legislature; and
WHEREAS, A senior at The University of Texas, this
hardworking young Texan will soon earn a bachelor's degree in
sociology; Mr. Sherman has consistently demonstrated the ability
to respond quickly and effectively to the challenges that arise
daily in a demanding office environment and has ably handled all
issues relating to law enforcement; and
WHEREAS, During his superb tenure, he has distinguished
himself as a valued and trusted legislative assistant, and his many
significant contributions to the office have helped to ensure its
smooth functioning throughout the course of the session; now,
therefore, be it
RESOLVED, That the House of Representatives of the 78th Texas
Legislature hereby commend Anthony Sherman for his exemplary
service as a legislative assistant and extend to him warmest best
wishes for continued success and happiness; and, be it further
RESOLVED, That an official copy of this resolution be
prepared for Mr. Sherman as an expression of high regard by the
Texas House of Representatives.
