R E S O L U T I O N
WHEREAS, Throughout high school, Kenneth Elliott Naishtat has shown initiative, leadership, and a determination to succeed, and his graduation from the prestigious Science Academy at LBJ High School in Austin provides a fitting opportunity to honor this exceptional young man; and WHEREAS, Mr. Naishtat has been an exemplary role model for his peers, earning membership in the National Honor Society and a listing in Who's Who in American High Schools; and WHEREAS, Duly recognized for his outstanding abilities, Mr. Naishtat has risen to the position of senior administrator and designer of network systems for LBJ High School and has received the Caltech Signature award for excellence and creativity in technology; and WHEREAS, This fine Texan has taken full advantage of the exceptional education offered by the LBJ Science Academy and has been accepted to Rensselaer Polytechnic Institute in Troy, New York; and WHEREAS, Kenneth Naishtat is an impressive young man who has demonstrated exemplary commitment in attaining his diploma; his dedication, enthusiasm, and perseverance typify the finest qualities of this nation's young people, and he is most deserving of commendation for his noteworthy accomplishment; now, therefore, be it RESOLVED, That the House of Representatives of the 78th Texas Legislature hereby congratulate Kenneth Elliott Naishtat on his graduation from the Science Academy at LBJ High School and extend to him sincere best wishes for continued success and happiness; and, be it further RESOLVED, That an official copy of this resolution be prepared for Mr. Naishtat as an expression of high regard by the Texas House of Representatives.
