R E S O L U T I O N
WHEREAS, The Raymondville Independent School District (ISD) indeed merits special legislative recognition for its longstanding tradition of excellence in education; and WHEREAS, Serving youth from prekindergarten to grade 12, the district includes five separate campuses and provides for the education of approximately 2,700 students; and WHEREAS, Since its creation, Raymondville ISD has made invaluable contributions to Willacy County, and its record of success can be attributed in large part to the substantial support of the community it serves; and WHEREAS, The residents of Willacy County continue to reap the benefits of the fine education offered by the Raymondville ISD, and it is truly a privilege to pay tribute to this noteworthy district and its many devoted educators, administrators, students, and staff; now, therefore, be it RESOLVED, That the House of Representatives of the 78th Texas Legislature hereby commend all those associated with the Raymondville Independent School District for their dedication to the provision of an exceptional education.
