H.R. No. 1911



R E S O L U T I O N
	WHEREAS, The San Perlita Independent School District indeed 
merits special legislative recognition for its long-standing 
commitment to providing its students with a top-notch education; 
and
	WHEREAS, Currently operating under the leadership of interim 
superintendent Marco Lara, the San Perlita ISD was named an 
exemplary district by the Texas Education Agency in 2001-2002, and 
this remarkable accomplishment is a testament to the high priority 
the district has placed on academic excellence; and
	WHEREAS, Since its establishment, the San Perlita ISD has 
made invaluable contributions to Willacy County, and its record of 
success can be attributed in large part to the substantial support 
of the community it serves; and
	WHEREAS, The residents of Willacy County continue to reap the 
benefits of the fine education offered by the San Perlita ISD, and 
it is truly a privilege to pay tribute to this noteworthy district 
and its many devoted educators, administrators, students, and 
staff; now, therefore, be it
	RESOLVED, That the House of Representatives of the 78th Texas 
Legislature hereby commend all those associated with the San 
Perlita Independent School District for their dedication to the 
provision of an outstanding education; and, be it further
	RESOLVED, That an official copy of this resolution be 
prepared for the San Perlita ISD as an expression of high regard by 
the Texas House of Representatives.
