H.R. No. 1916



R E S O L U T I O N
	WHEREAS, The Rio Hondo Independent School District indeed 
merits special legislative recognition for its long-standing 
commitment to excellence in education; and
	WHEREAS, A Texas Education Agency "recognized" district, the 
Rio Hondo ISD includes Rio Hondo Intermediate School, Rio Hondo 
Junior High School, and Rio Hondo High School; and
	WHEREAS, The Rio Hondo ISD has made invaluable contributions 
to Cameron County, and its record of success can be attributed in 
large part to the substantial support of the community it serves; 
and
	WHEREAS, The residents of Cameron County continue to reap the 
benefits of the fine education offered by the Rio Hondo ISD, and it 
is truly a privilege to pay tribute to this noteworthy district and 
its many devoted educators, administrators, students, and staff; 
now, therefore, be it
	RESOLVED, That the House of Representatives of the 78th Texas 
Legislature hereby commend all those associated with the Rio Hondo 
Independent School District for their dedication to the provision 
of an outstanding education; and, be it further
	RESOLVED, That an official copy of this resolution be 
prepared for the Rio Hondo ISD as an expression of high regard by 
the Texas House of Representatives.
