H.R. No. 1938
R E S O L U T I O N
WHEREAS, The Texas House of Representatives is pleased to
congratulate David Pate Laubenberg on his high school graduation;
and
WHEREAS, Born on November 20, 1984, to Bob and State
Representative Jodie Laubenberg, this impressive young man
enrolled at Canyon Creek Christian Academy in Richardson as a
third-grader; he has been known to happily assist fellow students
with the intricacies of calculus challenges, and he takes great
pleasure in attempting to perfect his game on the golf course; and
WHEREAS, Mr. Laubenberg received numerous awards for his
exceptional career in high school, including the Tri-C-A for being
outstanding student during his senior year at Canyon Creek
Christian Academy; the next chapter of his life will be based at The
University of Texas at Austin, where he will become a proud Longhorn
in fall 2003; and
WHEREAS, David Pate Laubenberg has demonstrated exemplary
commitment in attaining his high school diploma; his energy,
enthusiasm, and perseverance typify the finest qualities of young
Texans, and he is most deserving of special recognition; now,
therefore, be it
RESOLVED, That the House of Representatives of the 78th Texas
Legislature hereby congratulate David Pate Laubenberg on his
graduation from Canyon Creek Christian Academy and extend to him
warmest wishes for good fortune and happiness in the future; and, be
it further
RESOLVED, That an official copy of this resolution be
prepared for Mr. Laubenberg as an expression of high regard by the
Texas House of Representatives.
