R E S O L U T I O N
	WHEREAS, The wedding anniversary of two outstanding Texans 
who have shared 60 happy and rewarding years of marriage is truly a 
notable occasion; and
	WHEREAS, Mr. and Mrs. Wayne Geese commemorated this event in 
their lives on May 27, 2003, when they celebrated their 60 years of 
mutual affection and devotion; and
	WHEREAS, United in marriage on May 27, 1943, the couple are 
blessed with two daughters, Cathy Geese and Peggy Medford, and have 
happily welcomed a son-in-law, Jerry Medford, and grandchildren 
Michael Medford, Misty Lewis, and John Lewis to the family fold; and
	WHEREAS, For six decades, Mr. and Mrs. Geese have enjoyed a 
union filled with many wonderful times and joyful family memories, 
and their relationship remains a source of inspiration to the 
family and many friends of this fortunate pair; now, therefore, be 
it
	RESOLVED, That the House of Representatives of the 78th Texas 
Legislature hereby congratulate Mr. and Mrs. Wayne Geese on their 
60th wedding anniversary and extend to them sincere best wishes for 
continued happiness; and, be it further
	RESOLVED, That an official copy of this resolution be 
prepared for the couple as an expression of high regard by the Texas 
House of Representatives.
