R E S O L U T I O N
	WHEREAS, Truman and Mauriene Hayes of Welch have celebrated 
their 50th wedding anniversary, marking a golden milestone in their 
long and happy union; and
	WHEREAS, Joined in marriage on May 17, 1953, at the Welch 
Church of Christ, Mr. Hayes and the former Mauriene Coor share a 
warm and fulfilling relationship that is an inspiration to all who 
know them; the couple take great pride in their family, which 
includes five children, 13 grandchildren, and one 
great-grandchild; and
	WHEREAS, The couple are active members of the Welch Church of 
Christ; Mr. Hayes is enjoying his retirement after many years as a 
farmer, and the two now have more time for hunting and traveling; 
and
	WHEREAS, For five decades, Mr. and Mrs. Hayes have filled 
each other's lives with love, and their marriage has been enriched 
by cherished family memories and many joyful times; now, therefore, 
be it
	RESOLVED, That the House of Representatives of the 78th Texas 
Legislature hereby congratulate Truman and Mauriene Hayes on their 
50th wedding anniversary and extend to them sincere best wishes for 
the future; and, be it further
	RESOLVED, That an official copy of this resolution be 
prepared for Mr. and Mrs. Hayes as an expression of high regard by 
the Texas House of Representatives.
