A BILL TO BE ENTITLED

AN ACT

relating to decreasing the maximum amount of the administrative 
penalty for violations of the Texas Youth Camp Safety and Health 
Act.
	BE IT ENACTED BY THE LEGISLATURE OF THE STATE OF TEXAS:                        
	SECTION 1.  Subsection (c), Section 141.016, Health and 
Safety Code, is amended to read as follows:
	(c)  The penalty may not exceed $1,000 [$2,000] a day for 
each violation.
	SECTION 2.  This Act takes effect September 1, 2003.
