Section 524.021(a), Transportation Code, is amended to read as follows: (a) A driver's license suspension under this chapter takes effect on the 30th [40th] day after the date the person: (1) receives a notice of suspension under Section 524.011; or (2) is presumed to have received notice of suspension under Section 524.013. SECTION 2. This Act takes effect September 1, 2003. The change in law made by this Act applies only to an offense committed on or after the effective date of this Act.
