A BILL TO BE ENTITLED

AN ACT


relating to the manner of payment of child support to a local 
registry.   
	BE IT ENACTED BY THE LEGISLATURE OF THE STATE OF TEXAS:                        
	SECTION 1.  Section 154.241, Family Code, is amended by 
adding Subsection (f) to read as follows:
	(f)  A local registry may accept child support payments made 
by credit card, debit card, or automatic teller machine card.
	SECTION 2.  This Act takes effect September 1, 2003.
