A BILL TO BE ENTITLED

AN ACT

relating to the storage location of certain tobacco products.                 
	BE IT ENACTED BY THE LEGISLATURE OF THE STATE OF TEXAS:                        
	SECTION 1.  Section 155.002, Tax Code, is amended to read as 
follows:        
	Sec. 155.002.  STORAGE.  (a)  The commercial business 
location where tobacco products are stored or kept cannot be a 
residence or a unit in a public storage facility.
	(b)  This section does not apply to a manufacturer's 
representative.  
	SECTION 2.  This Act takes effect September 1, 2003.
