A BILL TO BE ENTITLED

AN ACT

relating to reasonable and evidence-based community opposition to 
state funded affordable housing developments and possible 
remediation for documented community impacts of affordable housing 
concentrations.
	BE IT ENACTED BY THE LEGISLATURE OF THE STATE OF TEXAS:                        
	SECTION 1.  Chapter 2306, Government Code, is amended by 
adding Subchapter KK to read as follows:

SUBCHAPTER KK.  COMMUNITY IMPACTS OF STATE FUNDED AFFORDABLE 
HOUSING DEVELOPMENTS
	Sec. 2306.901.  PURPOSE.  The purpose of this chapter is to 
address reasonable and evidence-based community opposition to 
state funded affordable housing developments and possible 
remediation for documented community impacts of affordable housing 
concentrations.
