A BILL TO BE ENTITLED

AN ACT

relating to the terms of court of the 9th Judicial District.                  
	BE IT ENACTED BY THE LEGISLATURE OF THE STATE OF TEXAS:                        
	SECTION 1.  Subsection (c), Section 24.109, Government Code, 
is amended to read as follows:
	(c)  The terms of the 9th District Court begin:                                
		(1)  in Montgomery County on the first Monday in 
January and the first Monday in July; and
		(2)  in Waller County on the [10th Monday after the] 
first Monday in January and the [12th Monday after the] first Monday 
in July.
	SECTION 2.  This Act takes effect September 1, 2003.
