SENATE RESOLUTION NO. 9

	WHEREAS, The Senate of the State of Texas is pleased to  
recognize June Bush on the occasion of her 25th anniversary with 
FOCUS Direct, Incorporated; and
	WHEREAS, Established in San Antonio in the 1940s, the 
company has operated under several names; it has been operating 
as FOCUS Direct, Incorporated, since 1989; and
	WHEREAS, The direct mail fund-raising company employs 
over 280 people and has annual gross revenues in excess of
$45 million; it has received the San Antonio Business Journal
Fast Track Award and has been recognized as one of the Top 50 
Privately Held Companies every year since 1996; and
	WHEREAS, June joined the company as a sales representative 
in 1978 and has become a leading expert in fund-raising for such 
charitable organizations as Saint Jude Shrine, American 
Veterans, and Saint Labre Indian School; she currently serves as 
a senior sales executive; and
	WHEREAS, She is dedicated to her work at FOCUS Direct and 
has single-handedly produced sales for the company in the $4 to 
$6 million range per year over the past 10 years; and
	WHEREAS, An exemplary lady and businesswoman, June is a 
credit to her company, her clients, and her community, and she 
deserves recognition for her exceptional accomplishments and her 
many contributions to FOCUS Direct, Incorporated; now, 
therefore, be it
	RESOLVED, That the Senate of the State of Texas,
78th Legislature, hereby congratulate June Bush on her 25th 
anniversary with FOCUS Direct, Incorporated, and extend best 
wishes to her for continued success; and, be it further
	RESOLVED, That a copy of this Resolution be prepared for 
her as a memento of this special occasion.
