SENATE RESOLUTION NO. 26
WHEREAS, The Senate of the State of Texas is pleased to recognize Bandera High School for being selected to participate in the Texas Pathfinder Collaborative program; and WHEREAS, The Texas Pathfinder Collaborative, formerly known as Mentor Schools, is an Education Service Center Region XIII Statewide Initiative program designed to assist teachers and administrators in identifying effective educational practices and in building a network through which these model programs can be shared in schools throughout Texas; and WHEREAS, The Pathfinder program at Bandera High School is one of just over 100 successful programs from campuses across the state that will participate in an initial organizational meeting in Austin on January 21, 2003; and WHEREAS, Education is a priority in Texas, and the Bandera High School Pathfinder program is an excellent example of providing effective solutions for student success; this outstanding program is truly worthy of legislative recognition; now, therefore, be it RESOLVED, That the Senate of the State of Texas, 78th Legislature, hereby commend Bandera High School administrators, faculty, and students for their outstanding efforts in meeting the challenge of educational improvement and extend best wishes for continued success; and, be it further RESOLVED, That a copy of this Resolution be prepared as an expression of esteem from the Texas Senate.
