SENATE RESOLUTION NO. 42
WHEREAS, After a courtship that began on a blind date in
the summer of 1999, Rosemary Murray and Josh Ehlers are being
united in matrimony in Dallas on March 22, 2003; and
WHEREAS, Currently living in Salt Lake City, Utah,
Ms. Murray considers Texas her home and graduated from Baylor
University in 2000 with a bachelor's degree in education; she
went on to earn a master's degree from the University of North
Texas in August 2001, and is now employed as the assistant center
director at Embry-Riddle Aeronautical University on Hill Air
Force Base in Utah; and
WHEREAS, Mr. Ehlers is a 2001 graduate of the University
of California at Davis, where he attained a bachelor's degree in
political science; he has since become an officer with the
California Highway Patrol and is stationed in San Jose; and
WHEREAS, The marriage of two people is a joyous event
that marks the beginning of a union filled with limitless
possibilities, and it is a privilege to honor Ms. Murray and
Mr. Ehlers as they embark on their new life together; now,
therefore, be it
RESOLVED, That the Senate of the State of Texas,
78th Legislature, hereby congratulate Rosemary Murray and
Josh Ehlers on the occasion of their wedding and extend to them
sincere best wishes for a rich and rewarding marriage; and, be it
further
RESOLVED, That an official copy of this Resolution be
prepared for the happy couple as an expression of high regard by
the Texas Senate.
