SENATE RESOLUTION NO. 105
WHEREAS, The Senate of the State of Texas takes pleasure in
recognizing Fort Worth City Council Member Jeff Wentworth for his
outstanding service to his community; and
WHEREAS, Mr. Wentworth is completing a third council term
as the District 7 representative and is a role model not only for
his colleagues, but for all elected officials; and
WHEREAS, The dedicated councilman stays well-informed on
issues and consistently casts intelligent, reasoned votes; he
is a man who votes his conscience, regardless of the political
consequences; and
WHEREAS, A retired banker, Mr. Wentworth has a deep love of
Fort Worth, and his concern for the best long-term interests of
the city has been evident in his work on the council; he is a
strong leader who is well liked and respected in the Fort Worth
community; and
WHEREAS, An exemplary public servant who is noted for his
integrity and forthrightness, Mr. Wentworth has played a major
role in the betterment of the Fort Worth community; now, therefore,
be it
RESOLVED, That the Senate of the State of Texas,
78th Legislature, hereby commend Jeff Wentworth for his
outstanding leadership and his many accomplishments on behalf
of the City of Fort Worth; and, be it further
RESOLVED, That a copy of this Resolution be prepared for
him as an expression of esteem from the Texas Senate.
